Inclusive therapy for people whose brains don't do normal.
Have you lost your spark in life? I work with adults with messy nervous systems who may be juggling life, meds, stagnant sex lives, and trying to find joy again. Whether it shows up as psychosis, burnout, or feeling stuck in general.
Psychosis Savvy
For folks navigating psychosis, voices, or reality just getting a little strange, I bring concrete tools, psychoeducation, and honest conversation so you can understand your brain, reduce chaos, and have relationships (with yourself and others) that feel more possible.
LGBTQIA+Affirming
For my queer and trans clients, we skip the 'explaining the basics' part. You don't have to justify your identity, your pronouns, your partners, or your sex life. We can talk about dysphoria, euphoria, coming out (or not), dating apps, family weirdness, queer joy, and just building a life that actually fits you. You're welcome here whether you're very out, very not, or still figuring it out.
Sex and Kink-Positive
I work with people whose sex lives have gotten tangled up with anxiety, shame, meds, pain, or identity questions. We can talk honestly about things like low desire, mismatched interest with a partner, erection or orgasm issues, and feeling 'broken' around sex. My goal is to help you have a sexual life that actually feels safe, doable, and maybe even fun again.
The Process
My style is direct, supportive, and deeply nonjudgemental. We'll talk about the stuff you usually feel like you have to hide with plenty of compassion, a smidgeon of dark humor, perhaps a sprinkle of swearing, and zero diet culture or 'fix your trauma to be worthy' vibes. I'm pretty structured when it helps (CBT, DBT skills, harm reduction plans, sleep, and meds logistics) and flexible when it doesn't. If you like homework, I'll give you small, concrete things to try between sessions so you're not just 'processing' forever with no changes. We'll look at how your brain actually works, not how it's 'supposed' to work, and build strategies around that, with you as the expert on your own life.
About Erin
I'm a queer, genderqueer, and neurodivergent therapist who cares a lot about helping people build lives that actually feel livable, not perfect. Outside of work I'm usually hanging out with my two cats, hunting for loud thrifted shirts, or nerding out with fanfiction. Btw, I absolutely want to meet your pets. I don't bring my personal beliefs into session unless it's helpful to you, but it might matter to know I'm sex-positive, kink-affirming, and politically pretty left, and I believe you deserve care no matter your diagnosis, job status, or housing situation.
